30 Years Ago today my parents got married. This is them then and now. They are a legit awesome pairing who made me who I am today. Wicked funny and strong and all around beautiful couple.

I went home today to visit my family. It was a perfect day to take my favorite route home from Nannies, HWY #2 along the river. The sun was shining, window down, and radio loud. Calming.
Along the #2 there is a park across from the old Dupont Plant, where my parents used to play tennis. Growing up I spent a few afternoons here. They moved around and played different courts throughout the summer, the same way a golfer appreciates a new course. So we only got to go there a few times, but it was always a favorite. I had my first kiss in this park. I was five years old, his name was Micheal and it was on the yellow merry-go-round.
You could only use the park if you worked for the plant, so when the plant shut down, as did the upkeep of the park.
I decided to stop and take pictures, my camera is a little weak, but I made the best of it.
